The experience starts with the gentle fragrance of wildflower hay. Stored ready for the stove in our unique cattle feeder, a nod to our agricultural heritage where nothing was ignored or wasted.
You feed the hungry stove, building temperature beyond what you thought you could tolerate. But then ritual always uncovers. Finally, finally, you tear yourself away and walk to the pool.
You hesitate, gather yourself. This is never easy, nor meant to be.
You almost wish it would rain, to ease the approaching contrast and shock.
Then you do it. Hear yourself laughing at the sheer beauty of the sensations rushing through you. And all you can think is this.
