The Westwood sauna is a nod to where we began with our first lodge. Now, Westwood is an outdoor sauna with can-do attitude, inspired by the humble charm and no-frills enduring practicality of the classic garden shed.
Simple in form Westwood has a rock-solid, insulated, stick frame that can be clad in a diverse range of materials. From the rugged beauty of rough sawn cedar to hard-working galvanised steel, corrugated hemp to sleek mirror hammered sheet-metal. Inside awaits the pure pleasure of relaxing in the fragrance of planed smooth cedar linings as you’re wrapped up in the life changing heat.
Designed for flexibility, Westwood is quick to build off site and easily tailored to suit your space and style. Built off site and transported ready to fit in walled gardens, wild hillsides, urban gardens – anywhere you’d prefer not to have a building site. From adjusting dimensions – maybe to add a changing room, selecting materials that reflect your surroundings, each build is made distinctly your own.

The WESTWOOD offers a more accessible route into authentic sauna living without compromising on experience.
It's designed for a quick and easy installation. A practical solution for anyone who'd rather not have a construction project in their back garden. Sitting on the ground eliminates the need for large intrusive concrete foundations. Being under 2 tonnes it's easily moved, ideal for commercial venues or those on the move.

The WESTWOOD is quick to build and easily tailored to suit your space, we can adjust dimensions to fit more people, add a changing room, and select the materials that best reflect your surroundings. Each build can be made distinctly your own, whether nestled into a garden corner or forming part of a larger outdoor retreat.

Build & Process
Our team will meet with you to survey and define the design brief. Designs are then prepared for your approval. Each sauna lodge is bespoke, built in our Hertfordshire workshop. During delivery, we move it into position, level it on its feet, and it's done.

Each sauna is unique but follows Shokk&Awe’s design and craft principles. We start with our classic 2.4m x 2.4m square sauna lodge which is ideal for 4 bathers but can seat 6 snugly. You can add on a changing room or increase the size to accommodate more people.
